'The Official Great British Factory Shop Guide' is easy to use. The Guide covers England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland and is split into nine 'areas'.

If you prefer to shop by products sold or company name indexes can be found at the back of the book.

Within each area you will find a brief introduction to each of the counties/unitary areas covered within that section and information on the major towns and villages, places of interest, an events calendar and contact information for the local tourist information centre. This is all geared to making the most of your shopping trip and the recognition that bargain hunting may take you to unfamiliar places.
 

The Factory Shops are listed alphabetically under town name in the appropriate county/unitary area. All Factory Shops have full addresses including postcode so that maps may be obtained from the internet and telephone numbers to ring for further information e.g. opening times, current stock.
